BIDEN ABANDONS TAIWAN TO CHINA

"The White House did not immediately produce a readout of the video call between President Joe Biden and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping on Friday morning, but the Chinese Foreign Ministry produced a detailed account of the call immediately, publishing it within the hour through Chinese state media. In China’s account of the call, Xi told Biden he could not expect any help from Beijing cleaning up the mess he made in Ukraine
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Biden told Xi the United States does not “seek a new Cold War with China” — a favorite talking point of the Chinese Communist Party. Biden further assured Xi the U.S.  does not support “Taiwan independence,”
According to the Chinese readout, Biden repeated these pledges to Xi twice during the call." NYP

Russia's Burger King refuses to shut and 800 restaurants will remain open

"Russia has refused to close down their 800 Burger King restaurants despite demands from the
company to suspend all trading, owners have said.
The parent company of Burger King, Restaurant Brands International, announced that all operations would end for their franchised outlets in Russia following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which is now well into its third week.
But the main operator of the business, businessman Alexander Kolobov, who is in a joint partnership with Restaurant Brands and oversees the day-to-day of the 800 restaurants, has 'refused' to close down the chain." DM

Bidenflation: Amazon Drivers Launch Protest Demanding Higher Pay to Deal with Gas Prices

"Amazon Flex drivers and other gig economy drivers have staged a protest outside an Amazon warehouse calling for an increase in pay to deal with surging gas prices during the unprecedented inflation under President Joe Biden.
Amazon Flex drivers do not drive Amazon delivery vehicles, but rather use their personal vehicles to deliver packages. As a result, they must pay for their own gas and with prices spiking during the Biden administration, many are claiming they can no longer afford to work for the e-commerce giant.
In an attempt to offset surging gas prices, other companies like Uber and Lyft have added extra charges for customers, but many Uber drivers have stated that the added surcharge is not enough to cover the higher cost of fuel.
An Amazon spokesperson told CNBC that the e-commerce giant is “closely monitoring the situation,” stating: “We’ve already made several adjustments through pricing surges in impacted areas to help ease some of the financial challenges. As the situation evolves, we’ll continue to make changes where we can to help support our partners.” Breitbart

An Unprecedented Wave Of Brazen Gasoline Thefts Is Rippling Across The US

"If we are seeing this much criminal activity already, what will happen when the price of
gasoline really spirals out of control?
I had heard that gasoline thefts were happening around the nation, but I had no idea how bad things really were until I started looking into it.  From coast to coast, gas stations are being targeted, and this is often being done by organized groups.  In other cases, criminals are going to private homes and are actually drilling directly into gas tanks in order to steal gasoline
What we are witnessing is quite frightening, and it is yet another sign of how far our society has fallen." ZH

Putin arrests his own military chief for ‘leaking’ as Russian army suffers heavy losses

"As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – originally forecast to be over in less than a week – limps
into its third week, furious Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin is looking for someone to blame.
Reports are emerging that General Roman Gavrilov, the deputy chief of Russia‘s Rosgvardia unit which was the spearhead of the first push into Ukrainian territory, has been arrested by the feared Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation – The FSB.
The reason for Gavrilov’s arrest is not immediately clear.
One source quoted by Bellincat’s Christo Grozev say the charge was “wasteful squandering of fuel” while a more serious charge of “leaks of military information that led to loss of life” has also been rumored." DailyStar

Putin show: Russian strongman holds a huge rally in front of thousands of 'Z' flag-waving Russians in World Cup stadium and calls for 'a world without Nazism' hails success of Ukraine 'special operation'

"The pro-war event was held to mark the eighth anniversary of Russia's illegal annexation of
Crimea in 2014, and saw the Russian strongman talk about the success of his 'special operation' in Ukraine. The white 'Z' has become a symbol of pro-Russian nationalism since Putin launched his brutal invasion of his neighbor on February 24, as it is painted on many of Moscow's military vehicles. As his bombs continued to fall just hundreds of miles away in Ukraine, Putin boasted of Russia and Crimea's 'shared destiny', and praised the peninsula's people for voting in a referendum to be part of Russia - which was held while it was still occupied by Russian troops." Ukrainian Legion: An American who fought in Ukraine warns others “Do not go, it’s a trap”

"A video has gone viral showing a man who is described as a volunteer describing the
situation in Ukraine for volunteers, telling people that the situation there is a “trap.
In a March 8 tweet, Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Independent reported 20,000 foreign volunteers had joined the International Legion Of Defense Of Ukraine since March 6. That’s left some Americans wondering if they’re allowed to join Ukraine’s foreign legion.
Editor of Human Events, Jack Posobiec posted earlier in week about the same man, who had corroborated reporting on the area, giving some credibility to his story about a lack of weapons for soldiers.
2 more Americans in Ukraine describe what is going on with the Western volunteers, and corroborate earlier reporting Appears to be various elements of volunteers operating now, not only the one Ukrainian Legion
We were about to get sent, but we have no weapons, and the UK were not being issued gear,” the Ukraine volunteer said.
Full transcript of what he said:

For anyone who is wondering what is going on, we were part of the Georgia National Legion, a hundred-second Ukrainian territorial defense, ok?  Our base got Fed up, the base next to us got Fed up. Americans, British, tons of people- British dead, alright? They are not saying nothing, they are counting our dead and they’re dead and they are trying to send us to  Kyivwith no Fing weapons, no kit, no find plates.  The people who are lucky enough to get weapons are only getting magazines with like ten Fing rounds, ok?  When they wanted to send us to Kyiv , we said no.  Our whole group, a bunch of Americans, Canadians, British.

So they told us that we had to get the F out or they would shoot us in the back, alright?  So me and this British guy and another American, we Fing hid in the back of an ambulance to get out.

We got to the border and it was a whole other mess. When you get to the border anyone who has kit, anyone who has any military, they are fing pulling you out of the line and sending you back to the front.  We got dropped off about 5 cliffs from the fing border and we walked- and we got to the border, and a bunch of humanitarian groups, with veterans from England, pulls us to the side and say you need to get out- they pulled us out and fing hit us, and were like- you need to dump all your kit.. and they were pulling people out, cutting up passports, sending them back, so we dumped out sh*t  and we got all of our fing red crosses and they had fing humanitarian passes to get us through the Ukrainian border.

People need to stop coming here. It is a trap. and they are not letting your Fing leave.  The best way to leave is like is like in a VIC or a car or something.  People who get on by vehicle, have a better chance of hiding in the back, doing whatever the fu*k they can- but do not come to Ukraine if you are a volunteer." Congress must stop Team Biden from giving Russia a financial lifeline in Iran deal

"Washington appears determined to undermine its own economic-sanctions campaign against Russian President Vladimir Putin for his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine — and aid a second dictatorship in the process.

The State Department confirmed Tuesday that the Biden administration would “not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation” of a new deal with Iran. In effect, Washington is guaranteeing Moscow a multibillion-dollar payout. Congress should stop President Joe Biden from throwing Putin this financial lifeline while he maims and kills innocent civilians.

Team Biden has been negotiating the revival of a weaker, shorter version of the Iran agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, since last year. It’s allowed Russia an outsized role in the talks, with the country’s head delegate, Amb. Mikhail Ulyanov, providing frequent public updates. In one instance, Ulyanov praised Tehran’s negotiating style, candidly stating, “Iran got much more than it could expect.”

Last week, however, Moscow suddenly halted negotiations and demanded guarantees from the Biden administration that the West’s Ukraine sanctions wouldn’t lead Washington to penalize “civil nuclear cooperation” in Iran that the deal’s terms allow Russia to undertake." NYP
