Oil tanker carrying 130,000 tons sinking in Russia’s Ust-Luga port

"A 130,000-ton oil tanker began sinking in Russia’s Ust-Luga port in Leningrad Oblast following a series of explosions in the ship’s engine room.
During the night the Koala tanker, registered under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda, was docked at Berth No. 3 in Ust-Luga’s maritime port. The ship had 24 crew members on board.
At around 2 a.m., the ship had just loaded approximately 130,000 tons of fuel oil and was preparing to leave port when three powerful explosions erupted in the engine room. The crew managed to evacuate safely to shore, but water began flooding the engine compartment., including four

92 clashes on frontline in Ukraine

"Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 92 combat clashes with the Russian troops, with one-third of the battles taking place on the Pokrovsk front.
In the Kharkiv sector, three
Russian assaults were repelled near Vovchansk and Fyholivka. The invaders launched aerial strikes at Nesterne and Slatyne.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched seven attack at the
Ukrainian positions, mainly near Bohuslavka, Stepova Novosilka, and Petropavlivka. Six assaults have been repelled, one battle is ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 10 assaults inear Zelenyi Hai, Novoserhiivka, Yampolivka, Kolodizi, Kopanky, and Novoliubivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, two battles are currently ongoing near Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the
Russian invaders attacked the Ukrainian defenders’ positions 12 times near Toretsk, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka. Two clashes near Toretsk are still underway.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 31 enemy assaults have been reported throughout the day. The hotspots remain Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pishchane, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Andriivka, and Dachne. Two battles are ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Zvirove, Pokrovsk, Filya, and Hrodivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, eight
Russian assaults near Kostiantynopil failed. Airstrikes targeted the settlements of Rozlyv, Odradne, Novosilka, and Storozhove.
In the Siversk, Huliaipole, Prydniprovske, and Orikhiv sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions. At the same time, they carried out airstrikes with 43 guided bombs and 10 unguided rockets on the settlements of Huliaipole, Chervone, Novopil, Piatykhatky, Kamianske, Lukianivske, Stepnohirske, and Prydniprovske.
In the Kursk sector, the
Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks, while one battle is still ongoing. Also, the enemy launched 23 airstrikes, 37 glide bombs, and 394 artillery shellings." Ukrin

Trump discusses Ukraine war in phone call with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump has said he spoke by phone with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in an attempt to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
When asked how many times he spoke to Putin, Trump replied: "I’d better not say".
