Iraq to summon US chargé d'affaires over recent American strikes on pro-Iranian targets

Mass power outage in Belgorod

"In the city of Belgorod, Russia, a widespread power outage occurred leaving several streets in different areas without electricity, according to Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov and local public groups.
According to local authorities, the blackout occurred due to a technical malfunction in the power grid. Following the incident, utility workers initiated restoration efforts and began the process of reconnection." MS

Tu-95 bomber commander shot in Russia

"The crew commander of a Tu-95 strategic bomber was shot in Engels, Russia. It was Major Oleg Stegachev, reports the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. According to the intelligence, the said Russian Air Force pilot was born on June 23, 1983, and served at the Engels air base (military unit 06987).
"He was directly involved in launching missile attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine and killing our people. As a result of the attack, Oleg Stegachev sustained gunshot wounds. We are clarifying whether he survived or not," the Defense Intelligence added." MS

US Strikes At Least 85 Targets In Iraq & Syria, Including From B1 Bombers

"At 4:00 p.m. (EST) Feb. 02,
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force and affiliated militia groups. U.S. military forces struck more than 85 targets, with numerous aircraft to include long-range bombers flown from United States.
The airstrikes employed more than 125 precision munitions. The facilities that were struck included command and control operations centers, intelligence centers, rockets, and missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicle storages, and logistics and munition supply chain facilities of militia groups and their IRGC sponsors who facilitated attacks against U.S. and Coalition forces."
