China Hit by 3 Epidemics at Once

"Warnings about new covid variants and the growing outbreak are spreading rapidly .
PJ.2.1 could become the dominant variant because of how quickly it spreads and repeated infections could increase the risk of death.
Miss Jao a funeral industry worker in Harbin said there has recently been an increase in sudden deaths among younger people leaving
parents to bury their own children. She said these days it's become common for young people to suddenly die without warning.
Exp
erts say Dengue fever, Chikungunya , and covid 19 can all cause similar early symptoms including fever, headache and muscle aches. It starts with ordinary respiratory symptoms including fever and inflammation. If the spinal cord is damaged, they develop paralysis. This is an extreme immune response that damages the liver, kidneys, hearts, and other organs and can even cause organ failure."

Trump announces Greenland deal

"The U.S. will effectively control Greenland’s security under an agreement reached with Denmark and the self-governing Arctic territory, President Donald Trump has announced.
Trump said the agreement “gives the United States
permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many
U.S. concerns
.”
“At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America,” he added.
“Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval.”
Trump promised that the U.S. will be “very protective” of Greenland, describing the deal as “a dream come true for the United States of America.”
Trump’s announcement coincided with a meeting of NATO’s top military officials in Copenhagen, where the bloc’s 32 defense chiefs gathered to discuss strengthening collective deterrence and defense.
The president has long argued that the U.S. should acquire Greenland from Denmark because of the island’s strategic position and the need to counter Russian and Chinese influence in the Arctic. His demands sparked outrage in Copenhagen and further strained relations with America’s NATO allies in Europe." RT

Trump signs 'Graham sanctioning Russia act'

"U.S. President Donald Trump has signed into law sanctions legislation against Russia initiated by the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
The legislation gives the U.S. president the authority to impose tariffs of up to 100% on goods from countries that are among the largest buyers of Russian oil or gas. These primarily include China and India.
The law provides for new sanctions against Russian officials and oligarchs, banks, energy and defense companies, as well as "shadow fleet" vessels used to circumvent restrictions.
An exception will apply to countries where Russian gas imports over a 12-month period accounted for less than 15% of Russia's total gas exports, provided that those countries have taken significant steps to reduce their purchases of energy from Russia." Ukrin

U.S. acknowledges for the first time that it has deployed weapons in space

"The United States has confirmed for the first time that it has deployed weapons in space.
Air Force Secretary Troy Meink told the Air and Space Cyber Conference in Maryland on Monday that the U.S. has fielded “on-orbit space control weapons capable of defending the Joint Force against hostile adversary action.”
Meink did not detail what the weapons were or how they work. In 2024 the U.S. said Russia was developing a new anti-satellite weapon that could be launched from space. At the time the White House said the danger wasn’t imminent.
But reports of the anti-satellite weapon reflected longstanding worries about space threats from Russia and China, given that much U.S. infrastructure is dependent on satellite communications.
In his remarks, Meink also said the Air Force was adding more autonomous systems to its capabilities and predicted the service would look “radically different” by 2032. For example, he foresaw one-way attack drones replacing artillery as the “primary killer.”" Breitbart

China is opening the first regular cargo route through the Arctic

"Shipping cargo through an
Arctic shortcut never made economic sense—until now.
A
Chinese company is starting the first regular cargo service to Europe through Arctic waters, seeking to reap the benefits of quicker travel time and less fuel use.
Beyond that, Beijing has ambitions to play a role in the
Arctic’s future, lending a geopolitical dimension to the Chinese company’s shipping route.
Last year Sea Legend completed a trial run from Asia to Europe in a record 20 days. That is roughly half the time of a voyage via Africa’s Cape of Good Hope that many carriers now take because of the Red Sea uncertainty." msn
