"Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine on Dec. 25, using over 70 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and more than 100 strike drones. The Russian army launched strategic bombers Tu-95ms and conducted launches of Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea overnight on Dec. 24. Additionally, Russian drone attacks were recorded on Ukrainian cities.
Around 6:00 a.m., the Ukrainian military warned of incoming cruise missiles in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Soon after, explosions were heard in the region. In addition to Dnipro, correspondents from Suspilne reported hearing explosions in the settlements of Samar, Kamyanske, and Kryvyi Rih.
On the morning of Dec. 25, Russia launched a massive attack on Kharkiv, striking the city at least seven times. Fires broke out at the impact sites, and there were casualties and infrastructure damage, according to local authorities. Later, DTEK representatives reported that the Russian military had attacked the thermal power plants of the energy holding, resulting in severe damage to their equipment." NV

Travel advisory warns U.S. citizens to exit Belarus immediately

US reports airstrikes on targets in Syria
"The US military carried out airstrikes on the positions of militants in Syria. As a result of the operation, two members of the jihadist terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) were eliminated, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM)......precision airstrike was carried out in Syria's Dayr az Zawr Province....The terrorists were moving a truckload of weapons which were destroyed during the strike.
