The WHO Drums Up Fear With Ebola After Hantavirus Scare Fails

"One of the biggest mistakes globalists made in their bid for perpetual medical authoritarianism during the Covid pandemic was reveling a bit too much. Numerous high level officials from the WEF, WHO, the Imperial College of London and an army of politicians were giddy with excitement and bragged publicly about all the power they were going to grab as the masses huddled in fear of a virus with a 99.8% average survival rate.
This arrogance cost them, triggering an awakening of millions of former skeptics who are now avid "conspiracy theorists". Today, the ability of the elitist class to sucker the populace into a new pandemic theater is greatly reduced.

We have see the consequences of the covid farce with the recent Hantavirus scare, which has failed to inspire any noticeable reaction from the public.
The US under the Trump Administration has exited the organization on these grounds, and as a result the WHO has lost at least 20% of its total funding. It is now facing dire financial conditions. In response, the UN and the establishment media have been running a spin campaign to present the WHO as indispensable.
For Hantavirus, the spread from human to human is rare and only occurs with the South American (or Andes) strain. Contraction is difficult, with the virus passing from one person to another through "prolonged contact" often involving bodily fluids.
The hysteria over Hantavirus has not materialized and the story is quickly fizzling out. In response the WHO and Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus are taking to the media again to announce a new "Ebola threat" in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Tedros is calling for "global solidarity" (and more funding) in response to the outbreak which has allegedly infected 13 people so far. It should be noted that the DRC has had at least 17 Ebola outbreaks since the 1970s and none of them have led to a global pandemic threat. The rhetoric of "global unity" is familiar, with much of the same language used during the covid pandemic.
The last time the US had a "close call" with Ebola was in 2014 when the CDC identified over a dozen carriers in the US, and two deaths. The end result? Nothing happened, despite a media firestorm asserting that a deadly plague was just around the corner.
This is not to say that dangerous outbreaks are never going to happen, but it is rather convenient that the WHO is losing substantial funding and sway in geopolitics, and suddenly, common outbreaks are being treated like looming disasters in the media." ZH

Australia sounds alarm after Chinese military incident

"The Australian defense ministry has accused the Chinese navy of another “unsafe and unprofessional maneuver” that endangered lives.
The encounter follows a string of complaints from Australia, the Philippines, Japan, and other U.S. allies about alleged unsafe behavior by the Chinese military in recent years.
Beijing has frequently rejected these accusations and accused the other party of violating its sovereignty and of threatening regional stability.

In a statement, the ministry said a People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) helicopter intercepted an Australian Defense Force (ADF) MH-60R helicopter launched from Anzaz-class frigate HMAS Toowoomba. The vessel was conducting a routine activity in international waters in the Yellow Sea as part of a multinational operation to enforce U.N. sanctions against North Korea.
“The PLA-N helicopter moved slightly ahead, increased speed and then rolled towards the ADF helicopter, which required evasive action to maintain safe flight,” the ministry stated, calling it an unsafe and unprofessional maneuver that posed a risk to our aircraft and its personnel.
“HMAS Toowoomba and its embarked helicopter acted in accordance with international law at all times.”
The incident follows an October encounter between a Chinese Su-35 fighter jet and an Australian air force P-8A Poseidon patrol plane. The PLA plane reportedly fired flares in proximity to the Australian aircraft, an unsafe maneuver that put the crew at risk, Canberra said." msn

Is a new civil war on the horizon?

"Since the end of 2025, the security situation in South Sudan, the youngest country in Africa, has sharply deteriorated, raising fears of a new civil war. Jonglei State, located near the Ethiopian border, has been particularly hard-hit by violence. The renewed fighting threatens to undermine the 2018 peace agreement between the government and opposition forces.
Intense clashes have erupted between the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and the opposition factions of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army-in-Opposition (SPLM/A-IO) across Jonglei State, Upper Nile State, and Unity State, as well as in parts of Equatoria.

In late December 2025 and early January 2026, SPLM/A-IO, alongside allied forces primarily composed of Nuer militias known as the White Army, seized several key cities and government positions in northern Jonglei State, forcing the SSPDF to retreat. Shortly thereafter, the opposition called for a march on Juba. On January 25, the SSPDF announced the launch of Operation Enduring Peace and ordered the evacuation of civilians and UN Mission in South Sudan personnel from Nyirol, Uror, and Akobo counties, designating them as combat zones.
The main clashes erupted on January 26 on the outskirts of the heavily populated city of Yuai in eastern Jonglei State. While the SSPDF managed to capture some villages, the opposition has retained control over the city. By early February, the SSPDF had claimed “victory” and recaptured certain positions; however, the SPLM/A-IO described this as a “tactical withdrawal” to regroup.
Both sides employed heavy weaponry, including tanks, during these confrontations; during the course of combat, huts were burned and weapons seized.
This latest surge of violence comes amid preparations for the country’s first-ever general parliamentary elections, planned for December 2026. It was preceded by a series of contentious decisions by South Sudan President Salva Kiir, including the arrest of South Sudan First Vice President Riek Machar in March 2025 on charges of treason and involvement in killings linked to the takeover of an SSPDF base by the White Army, as well as the dismissal of Machar’s wife, Angelina Teny, from her post as Minister of Interior in early 2026.
Machar’s supporters view these developments as a blatant violation of the 2018 Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS), particularly its provisions regarding power-sharing.
The conflict flared up in the capital, Juba, and rapidly spread to other regions. Soon, it evolved into an ethnic conflict: the Dinka people, loyal to Kiir, clashed with the Nuer people, who supported Machar. Both groups belong to the Nilotic ethnic group and make up the largest segments of South Sudan’s population (the Dinka comprise about 35% and the Nuer around 15% of the country’s population)." RT

Tensions rise in Africa’s youngest nation

"South Sudan’s army has ordered civilians and personnel from the UN mission (UNMISS) and humanitarian organizations to evacuate three counties in Jonglei, the country’s largest state, as it prepares for an operation targeting opposition forces.

Jonglei has experienced the fiercest fighting in Africa’s youngest country in recent months, with clashes between the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-in-Opposition (SPLA-IO) described by the UN as the most intense since 2017.
SPLA-IO forces, aligned to South Sudan’s suspended Vice President Riek Machar, captured the town of Pajut in northern Jonglei in mid-January, bringing the state capital Bor into closer range of their offensive.
In a statement on Sunday, SSPDF spokesperson Maj. Gen. Lul Ruai Koang announced the “imminent” launch of ‘Operation Enduring Peace’ and directed all civilians in SPLA-IO-held areas of Uror, Nyirol, and Akobo to immediately evacuate to nearby government-controlled areas for their safety." UN condemns deadly drone strike on peacekeepers in Sudan’s Kordofan

"The United Nations has condemned a recent drone attack that targeted its Sudanese logistics in the central region of Kordofan base in Kadugli, resulting in fatalities & injuries of members of the Bangladeshi Peacekeeping contingent.
The UN's Secretary General António Guterres said in a statement that attacks against UN

peacekeepers like this one are unjustifiable & may constitute war crimes. He further reminded the parties to the war of their obligation to protect UN personnel & civilians, while also calling for accountability.
A drone strike hit the UN facility in war-torn Sudan on Saturday, killing six peacekeepers, according to the U.N.
Eight other peacekeepers were wounded in the strike.
All the victims are Bangladeshi nationals, serving in the U.N. Interim Security Force for Abyei, UNISFA.
“Attacks targeting United Nations peacekeepers may constitute war crimes under international law,” said Guterres, who called for those responsible for the “unjustifiable” attack to be held accountable.
The Sudanese military blamed the attack on the Rapid Support Forces, RSF, a notorious paramilitary group at war with the army for control of the country for more than two years.

Militants from Russia's African Corps committing atrocities in Mali

"Militants from Russia's African Corps are committing numerous killings, rapes and other crimes in the African country of Mali. These fighters, subordinated to Russia's Defense Ministry, have replaced the Wagner Private Military Company, once a powerful Russian paramilitary formation used in covert overseas operations.
According to the refugees, the African Corps uses the same tactics as Wagner. Two refugees

showed video footage of villages burned by "white men". Two others said they had found the bodies of their relatives with their livers and kidneys missing, something that had previously been reported in connection with Wagner's activities.
"It's a scorched-earth policy. The soldiers speak to no one. Anyone they see, they shoot. No questions, no warning. People don't even know why they are being killed," said a Malian village chief who fled.
AP noted that the military governments of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have turned from Western allies to Russia for help in fighting militants linked to al-Qaeda or Islamic State.
When the African Corps replaced Wagner six months ago, civilians hoped the brutality would decrease. The United Nations says they have suffered abuses by all sides in the conflict. But refugees have spoken about a new reign of terror by the African Corps.
AP gained access to the Mauritanian border, where thousands of Malians have fled in recent months due to intensified fighting. The agency spoke to 34 refugees who described indiscriminate killings, abductions and sexual violence. Most of them spoke on condition of anonymity.
"They are the same men, paid by the government, and continue the massacres. There is no difference between Wagner and Africa Corps," the village elder said.
The Malian authorities have never publicly acknowledged the presence of Wagner  But in recent weeks, Russian state media have released reports from Mali praising the African Corps for protecting the country from "terrorists", and Russia's Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the unit operates "at the request of the Malian authorities", providing ground escorts, conducting search-and-rescue operations and other tasks, AP says." Fighting in North Darfur sees number of displaced people triple

Ugochi Daniels, deputy director general for operations at the International Organization for Migration, IOM, told the Associated Press Thursday that the conflict had also reduced el-Fasher’s own population by 62 percent this year. She warned that the massive displacement presents major challenges for the country, echoing other aid workers who have repeatedly labeled Sudan the world's largest displacement crisis.

Russia-Ukraine Ceasefire at Zaporizhzhia Allows Repairs to Begin at Nuclear Power Plant

President of Ecuador Daniel Noboa Attacked in Humanitarian Aid Convoy

"Violent rioters in Ecuador on Sunday assaulted a convoy loaded with humanitarian aid led by President Daniel Noboa in the province of Imbabura amid fierce anti-government protests over the end of fuel subsidies, according to the Ecuadorian government.
On Sunday, President Noboa personally led a humanitarian convoy alongside other

government officials and international representatives to the city of Otavalo, Imbabura, one of the municipalities most affected by the ongoing strikes and violent protests. Ecuadorian presidential spokesperson Carolina Jaramillo explained to local outlets on Monday that some 350 people ambushed the convoy, which was under the protection of some 50 military officials. Jaramillo described the violent protests as terrorist acts and stressed that “the attack came unexpectedly, and what the military did was repel it.”
The presidential spokesperson further detailed that, in addition to President Noboa, Interior Minister John Reimberg and Defense Minister Giancarlo Loffredo were also part of the convoy, as well as Catholic Apostolic Nuncio Andrés Carrascosa, European Union Ambassador Jekaterina Dorodnova, U.N.
