Biden drops out of the 2024 presidential race, endorses Vice President Kamala Harris for nomination


"President Biden announced Sunday that he is dropping out of the 2024 presidential race and threw his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris."While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for
me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for my term
," Mr. Biden posted in a statement on social media.
Mr. Biden said he would address the nation later this week. Mr. Biden is currently in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as he recovers from COVID-19."

172 combat engagements on the front line

"In the past 24 hours, there were 172 combat engagements on the front line.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued active operations, with a total of seven combat engagements. Fighting occurred in the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked AFU positions 13 times. The Defense Forces repelled assaults near seven different settlements. The main efforts of the invaders were concentrated in the areas of Berestove and Stelmakhivka.
In the Lyman direction, the defenders repelled 11 attacks by the occupiers near Nevske, Makiivka, and towards Lozova.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces also repelled 11 assaults near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, and Pereizne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 20 enemy attempts to break through the defense, particularly in the areas of Chasiv Yar, which saw more than half of these engagements, Klishchiivka, Kalynivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region." UB

Zaporizhzhia region. According to Fedorov,
Russian troops carried out two air strikes on Novoandriivka, and 186 UAVs of various modifications attacked Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Malynivka. In addition, 12 MLRS attacks hit Robotyne, Huliaipole, and Novoandriivka.

Top US General Laments 'Failure' Of Yemen Operations As Putin Mulls Arming Houthis

"The top US commander in the Middle East warned Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that the
US’s operations against Houthi fighters in Yemen are "failing" to deter the Iran-backed group from attacking international shipping.
In a classified letter, General Michael Erik Kurilla, the head of US Central Command (Centcom), suggested the US should take a more forceful approach against the Houthis, the report said. The letter comes amid fears that Red Sea tensions could draw in Russia.
