Ukraine must be held accountable for ‘stealing’ US aid – James Durso to The Hill

"Vladimir Zelensky’s government in Ukraine must answer for the corruption and theft of Western aid, according to an opinion piece published in The Hill. The article written by James Durso, a retired Navy officer, blasted both the US and NATO for sparking the Ukraine conflict in the first place and enabling the massive theft.
The American shame is that the US heedlessly expanded NATO to the borders of Russia, and then, after Russia pushed back, enabled and funded the cynical maladministration by the Zelensky government, which will go down in history as one of the greatest examples of waste and theft of Western aid,” reads the piece.
The “sheer scale of waste and fraud” will only be revealed by independent investigations after the conflict ends, predicts the article. Officials in Kiev have worked to silence media stories about corruption allegations, it added.
Zelensky and his administration… should be held accountable by the US Congress for the lost billions of American taxpayer dollars,” concluded The Hill. “It’s past time Washington stopped letting corrupt foreign officials steal American aid.” RT

Store after store was ransacked. Everything in sight, from rice to televisions, sound systems to general goods were looted. In just a few hours, several large Chinese supermarkets in the city center, with inventory worth millions of yuan, were completely emptied. The looting didn’t stop there.
