Anti-Israel Protesters Cause Chaos For White House Correspondents’ Dinner Attendees

"Pro-Palestine protesters took to the streets of the nation’s capital Saturday evening, creating a chaotic scene outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Video captured by the Daily Caller shows a large group of activists protesting outside of the White House press corps’s annual star-studded gathering at the Washington Hilton hotel. A left-wing activist group, Code Pink, reportedly organized the demonstration, instructing supporters go through Kalorama Park to reach the hotel, according to the group’s website.
“The Correspondents’ Dinner is nothing more than a celebration and endorsement of the administration’s actions. That is not journalism. That is complicity,” the Code Pink website states.
Footage of the evening’s activities shows protesters banging on drums and yelling chants such as, “Shame, shame, shame on you, for all the terror that you do” and others about the media’s alleged lying." DailyCaller

Pro-Israel, Pro-Palestinian Protesters Clash at UCLA ‘Encampment’

"Roughly 2,000 pro-Israel counter-demonstrators gathered at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) to protest near a “Palestine Solidarity Encampment” that was set up last week on campus.

As they arrived, many had to walk a gauntlet of about 100 pro-Palestinian activists, some of whom were from the encampment. Local Black Lives Matter activists had also called upon supporters to oppose the pro-Israel protesters.....the university lacked sufficient personnel to provide security for the pro-Israel protesters. Ukraine's top general says troops fall back as fighting worsens on eastern front

"Ukraine's army leader admitted Sunday that Kyiv's position on the battlefield has worsened after Russian forces captured another village in the east, pressing their advantage in manpower and ammunition. Ukrainian troops had "retreated" westwards to new defensive lines in a section of the front that runs past the city of Donetsk. Russia's defense ministry earlier on Sunday claimed its troops had captured the village of Novobakhmutivka in the eastern Donetsk region – around 10 kilometres (six miles) north of Avdiivka, which they seized in February." 112 combat clashes on front lines in past 24 hours

"In the past 24 hours, 112 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines in Ukraine. In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna sectors, Russia maintains a military presence in the border areas, and continues to conduct sabotage and reconnaissance activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks near Berestove in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 attacks near Kopanky and Novoserhiivka in the Kharkiv region; Makiivka, Nevske and the Serebrianka forestry in the Luhansk region; and Terny in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 24 attacks near Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Novyi, Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy was attempting to improve its tactical position.
In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Keramik, Arkhangelsk, Umanske, Sokil, Ocheretyne, Kalynove, Solovyove, Novopokrovske, Novoselivka Persha and Semenivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aircraft, attempted to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 11 times.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times in the vicinity of Staromaiorske, the Donetsk region, with the support of aircraft.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
