Solar Panels Explode in Beirut

"Lebanon National News Agency (NNA) reported that rooftop solar arrays in Beirut exploded at roughly the same time walkie-talkies that Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, members used detonated in their hands.

The NNA offered no corroborating details about the reported photovoltaic (PV) panel explosions or how much damage they inflicted.
The wave of device detonations began on Tuesday when some 2,800 injuries were reported from Hezbollah pagers exploding." Breitbart

81 combat clashes on the frontlines, most attacks reported in Lyman sector

"81 combat clashes between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian invaders.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian invaders attacked the Ukrainian Defense Forces five times near Synkivka, Stepova, Novoselivka, Lozova, and Stelmakhivka. One battle is still going on. The enemy aircraft attacked Kupiansk and Kivsharivka with five guided aerial bombs.
In the Lyman sector, the Russians carried out 14 attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Torske, Novosadove and Terni. 13 battles are over, one is currently ongoing.

As the General Staff noted, the Russians continue to look for vulnerable spots in the Ukrainian defenses near Vyimka in the Siversk sector. The Russians launched one unsuccessful assault in this sector.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled seven attacks by Russian invaders near Kalynivka, Maiske and Andriivka. Three clashes are still ongoing. The Russian aviation struck Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, and Stupochky with glide bombs and unguided air rockets.
In the Toretsk sector, the Russian forces attempted eight times to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka. The enemy is actively using aviation here, they struck Toretsk, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Kalynove with glide bombs, Druzhba and Dachne – with unguided air rockets.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian invaders made 12 attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretsk, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Marynivka, and Mykhailivka. The Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 10 attacks, two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Russians attacked 13 times towards Tsukurine, Hirnyk, Zhelanne Pershe, Heorhiivka, Katerynivka, and Kostiantynivka. Seven attempts by the enemy to advance have already been repulsed.
There were four enemy attacks in the Vremivka sector near Katerynivka and Vuhledar. One battle is underway.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Russian invaders unsuccessfully attacked near Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, the Russians four times stormed the Ukrainian positions near Robotyne, Novoandriivka, and Novodanylivka. One battle is still going on.
The operational situation in other sectors of the front has not undergone significant changes.
Ukraine’s offensive operation is ongoing in Russia’s Kursk region. The Russian aviation keeps on razing their villages and towns to the ground. Since the beginning of the day, Russian warplanes have launched 12 glide bombs on their own territory, the General Staff stressed.

US to delay Ukraine aid due to shortages – CNN

"Weapons stockpile shortages will likely force Washington to delay shipments of promised military aid to Ukraine, CNN reported citing two US officials familiar with the matter.

According to the Pentagon, the US has $5.9 billion left in the special congressionally approved mechanism (PDA) aimed at fast-tracking aid for Kiev. However, the aid packages have been growing smaller as the weapons stocks dwindle, CNN said." RT

Baltic states, Poland criticize EU imports of Russian LNG

"Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland have called on other European Union countries to stop buying Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG), arguing that such imports help fund Moscow’s war against Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister fires 20 top officials for outdated methods

"Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is planning to dismiss, or has already dismissed, around 20 generals and senior officials. Ukrainska Pravda (UP) reported this citing sources within the Ministry of Defense.

According to UP, the primary reasons for these dismissals are "ineffectiveness, a Soviet-era approach, and a lack of results in their areas of responsibility."
Sources say the list of those set to be dismissed includes five deputy ministers, the state secretary of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the controversial head of the Drone Systems Command, Roman Hladkyi." NV

US builds up naval presence near Alaska amid Russian activity

"US Armed Forces are steadily increasing their presence near Alaska, deploying a destroyer and an army unit equipped with a long-range missile system. Tensions in the region are rising due to heightened military activity by Russia and China off the coast of Alaska, according to Politico.

In the past month, the destroyer USS Sterett has been dispatched to the Alaskan coast in response to Russian naval vessels operating in the area. Troops landed on a remote Alaskan island, and squadrons of fighter jets and other aircraft have been stationed in Alaska and remain on heightened alert.
These actions follow a series of Russian air operations that bypassed Alaskan airspace, as well as joint exercises involving Russian and Chinese military ships in the Pacific near Japan.
