Home Reef, Tonga

"Satellite images of Home Reef showed that new lobes of lava advanced in multiple directions
from a crater the center of the island. Flows to the E and SE each entered the ocean and extended the coastline by about 100 m. Near infrared data showed thermal anomalies over the summit; the 22 December image showed brighter areas over the at least six lava flows in all sectors except the SW.
