Senator Calls For U.S. To Exit NATO

During Sunday's security summit of European leaders to find an alternate peace plan to Washington's, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced a "coalition of the willing" to step up efforts in support of Kiev.

Starmer said he hopes this coalition will gain support and leadership from the Trump White House. "We are at a crossroads in history today," Starmer said after the summit of 18 leaders - which included Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Starmer unveiled a four point agreed-to 'peace plan' (..though not agreed to by the US):to keep military aid flowing into Ukraine, and to keep increasing the economic pressure on Russia that any lasting peace must ensure Ukraine's sovereignty and security and Ukraine must be present at any peace talks in the event of a peace deal, to boost Ukraine's defensive capabilities to deter any future invasion to develop a "coalition of the willing" to defend a deal in Ukraine and to guarantee peace afterwards.
But one crucial line in his remarks detailing the plan caught many people's attention - the expressed willingness to put Western/NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine: "The UK are prepared to back this with boots on the ground and planes in the air," Starmer said. 109 clashes on frontline in past day

"109 combat engagements between units of the Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded at the front, with the enemy attacking most of all in the Pokrovsk sector and in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The Russian army carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Liutivka, Dovzhyk in Kharkiv region, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Leontovychi, Novopavlivka, Oleksiivka, Horikhove, Voskresenka in Donetsk region, Zaliznychne, Huliaypole, Varvarivka in Zaporizhzhia region, and Sichneve in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Three hostile attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled Russian assaults in the areas of Zahryzove, Petropavlivka and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 15 times, trying to advance near Novyi, Yampolivka and Novomykhailivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, four Russian assaults took place in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka and Oleksandro-Shultyno.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 Russian attacks in the direction of Tarasivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, Vodiane Druhe and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne and Skudne.
In the Orikhivsk sector, in the areas of Nesterianka and Novodanylivka, the invaders made two unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders three times.
In the Kursk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks by Russian troops yesterday. The enemy launched 444 artillery attacks, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out 19 air strikes, dropping 30 guided aerial bombs." Ukrin
