France confirms first Ebola case

"France has confirmed its first Ebola case in a doctor who recently returned from a

humanitarian mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), the French Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday.
The ministry said the patient was admitted to a specialized facility and is in stable condition. He has been placed in isolation as part of precautionary measures." RT

The WHO Drums Up Fear With Ebola After Hantavirus Scare Fails

"One of the biggest mistakes globalists made in their bid for perpetual medical authoritarianism during the Covid pandemic was reveling a bit too much. Numerous high level officials from the WEF, WHO, the Imperial College of London and an army of politicians were giddy with excitement and bragged publicly about all the power they were going to grab as the masses huddled in fear of a virus with a 99.8% average survival rate.
This arrogance cost them, triggering an awakening of millions of former skeptics who are now avid "conspiracy theorists". Today, the ability of the elitist class to sucker the populace into a new pandemic theater is greatly reduced.

We have see the consequences of the covid farce with the recent Hantavirus scare, which has failed to inspire any noticeable reaction from the public.
The US under the Trump Administration has exited the organization on these grounds, and as a result the WHO has lost at least 20% of its total funding. It is now facing dire financial conditions. In response, the UN and the establishment media have been running a spin campaign to present the WHO as indispensable.
For Hantavirus, the spread from human to human is rare and only occurs with the South American (or Andes) strain. Contraction is difficult, with the virus passing from one person to another through "prolonged contact" often involving bodily fluids.
The hysteria over Hantavirus has not materialized and the story is quickly fizzling out. In response the WHO and Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus are taking to the media again to announce a new "Ebola threat" in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Tedros is calling for "global solidarity" (and more funding) in response to the outbreak which has allegedly infected 13 people so far. It should be noted that the DRC has had at least 17 Ebola outbreaks since the 1970s and none of them have led to a global pandemic threat. The rhetoric of "global unity" is familiar, with much of the same language used during the covid pandemic.
The last time the US had a "close call" with Ebola was in 2014 when the CDC identified over a dozen carriers in the US, and two deaths. The end result? Nothing happened, despite a media firestorm asserting that a deadly plague was just around the corner.
This is not to say that dangerous outbreaks are never going to happen, but it is rather convenient that the WHO is losing substantial funding and sway in geopolitics, and suddenly, common outbreaks are being treated like looming disasters in the media." ZH

The rebel group M23 is vying to expand its control by pushing south from Goma in the most dramatic escalation in the decades-old conflict for 13 years. The United Nations has warned that the conflict is at risk of spiraling into a war in a region that’s no stranger to bitter fighting.
After seizing control of Goma, a key city in the east of the country, earlier this week, M23’s leader Corneille Nangaa vowed to take the battle all the way to the country’s capital, Kinshasa. Meanwhile, the Congolese government called for a massive mobilization and President Félix Tshisekedi vowed to “reconquer every inch of our territory.” NBC

Kenyan & Uganda and other Embassies in DRC Attacked

"The Kenyan embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has been attacked.

According to Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs Korir Sing’oei, the embassy staff was also attacked in the melee.
Further, the PS indicated that other embassies in Kinshasa were also attacked including the Uganda and South African Embassies.
Moreover, Sing’oei has explained that the attack was orchestrated by protesters who are against the violence in the Eastern part of DRC.

The embassies of France, the United States, Rwanda, and Kenya were also targeted by the protesters." MS

DRC Cuts Ties with Rwanda as M23 Rebels Threaten Goma

"The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has severed diplomatic relations with Rwanda amid escalating violence in its eastern regions. The M23 rebel group is advancing on Goma, a city of 2 million people, forcing thousands to flee their homes.

M23, a predominantly Tutsi group that emerged in 2012, has made significant territorial gains near the Rwandan border. The DRC accuses Rwanda of supporting the rebels, an allegation Rwanda denies.
The fighting has intensified in recent weeks, with M23 capturing strategic towns around Goma. At least 13 peacekeepers and foreign soldiers have died in clashes. Congolese forces, supported by UN peacekeepers and regional troops, are struggling to repel the rebel advance.....DRC government announced its decision to cut ties with Rwanda. Military Court Sentences 3 Americans, 34 Others to Death

"A military court in Congo handed down death sentences Friday to 37 people, including three Americans, after convicting them on charges of taking part in a coup attempt.The defendants, who also included a Briton, Belgian, Canadian and several Congolese, can appeal the verdict on charges that included terrorism, murder and criminal association. Fourteen people were acquitted in the trial, which opened in June.

Six people were killed during the botched coup attempt led by the little-known opposition figure Christian Malanga in May that targeted the presidential palace and a close ally of President Felix Tshisekedi. Malanga was fatally shot while resisting arrest soon after live-streaming the attack on his social media, the Congolese army said. A website in Christian Malanga’s name said his family settled in Salt Lake City in the 1990s as part of a refugee-resettlement program. He participated in the U.S. Army Junior ROTC, it said. He returned to Congo to run for political office in 2011 but was arrested “on bogus charges” and held for several weeks by police officers who beat him, it said. 

In July, Marcel Malanga told the court he was not involved in planning the coup and that he and Thompson had been forced to join in while visiting his father. “Dad had threatened to kill us if we did not follow his orders,” Reuters quoted him as saying." WJ

WHO considers declaring international health emergency over deadlier strain of mpox

over an outbreak of a deadlier strain of mpox — formerly known as monkeypox.
The new strain of the disease, renamed to mpox, is more infectious and has a 3% fatality rate, compared to the 1% fatality rate of the 2022 outbreak, Science reported. The outbreak began in the Democratic Republic of the Congo but recently spread to neighboring countries. The new strain is called clade 1.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo alone, 14,000 cases and 450 deaths were reported so far this year.
New cases were recorded in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Burundi. The spread has prompted WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to consider sounding the WHO’s highest level of alarm." WashintonExaminer

A government spokesman has stated "The armed men attacked the Kinshasa residence of Vital Kamerhe, a federal legislator and a candidate for speaker of the National Assembly of DR Congo, but were stopped by his guards." - according to the military, but the whole murky incident is raising eyebrows in the West as the army says it has detained some suspects who hold US and Canadian passports.
