"Multiple thousands of migrants have streamed onto Spanish territory from Morocco in a matter of days, taking advantage of a new loophole after a Supreme Court ruling that ordered police to stop resisting migrants who came by sea.
The local government of Ceuta — a tiny slice of North Africa that is an exclave of Spanish territory otherwise surrounded by Morocco and the Mediterranean — has called on thenational government in Madrid to declare a national emergency, deploy the army, and close the border as the city is overwhelmed by an enormous migrant wave. Certainly more than two thousand, with the full number unclear as the surge continues and local law enforcement finds itself unable to cope nor count, are reported to have swam around the small fenced breakwater that demarks the Moroccan and Spanish territorial line.
Spanish newspaper El Mundo now states that after days of the border crisis and the Ceuta local authorities begging Madrid for help, the army has now finally deployed. Remarkably, the paper further states that previous estimates of arrivals being in the low thousands may be radically wrong and police sources tell them “some 20,000 people have crossed the Ceuta border”. Italian Woman Beheaded as Attacker Recites Passages From a Book. Yeah, THAT Book.
"And so in Italy recently, a woman was beheaded, in accord with commands found in the holy book of a rapidly growing segment of Italy’s population, and in case anyone remained determined to miss the point of what he had done (as many European authorities are), the perpetrator helpfully quoted from that book in justification of his actions. Welcome to the new Europe. The Italian-language Firenze Today reported Friday that Issam Chlih, “a 29-year-old homeless Moroccan national,” is “the sole suspect in the murder of Silke Sauer,” who was “a 44-year-old German woman found decapitated near an abandoned farmhouse in the park of the former CNR site in Scandicci.” CNR is the National Research Council, an Italian government agency devoted to scientific and technological exploration.
Preliminary Investigations Judge (GIP) Roberta Di Maria ordered Chlih detained “due to the risk that Chlih might flee or reoffend.”
Issam Chlih, however, is not your average hardened criminal or garden-variety recidivist. This is clear from the details of what happened on the fateful night in which Chlih beheaded Silke Sauer. “According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction,” Firenze Today notes, “Issam Chlih and Silke Sauer were together on the evening and had stopped at a bar in Florence near the Leopolda station. Witnesses reported that Chlih shouted incoherent phrases and harassed customers. Police arrived at the scene after the bar manager called the emergency number (112).”
Early in the morning of the following day, however, “they returned to Scandicci by tram. Video surveillance cameras captured them walking toward the abandoned farmhouse. They reportedly began arguing right near the building.” It was at this point that “other homeless individuals present in the park at the former CNR site reportedly heard screaming and a male voice reciting verses from the Qur'an, shouting that the devil had taken possession of the woman. Immediately afterward, a female voice—presumably Silke Sauer’s—was heard shouting ‘stop’ in Italian.”
Issam Chlih did not stop. And “the following day, in a state of agitation, Chlih reportedly drove away anyone approaching the dog park adjacent to the farmhouse. Passersby called emergency services, and the twenty-nine-year-old was admitted to Torregalli Hospital. The next day Silke’s body was discovered.”
How could something like this have happened? Well, that ain’t exactly rocket science. What Qur'an verses could Issam Chlih have been reciting? These are good candidates: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks...” (47:4) And: “When your Lord inspired the angels, I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then strike the necks and strike their fingertips.” (8:12)." PJM

24 combat planes left Spain to attack Iran while Sánchez boasted of 'no to war'
"From February 27 to March 5, there were 35 war-related movements at the two naval bases. They are the origin or stopover for aircraft operating in the Middle East.
"We could use their base if we wanted to. We could simply fly there and use it. No one is going to tell us not to use it." The words that Donald Trump uttered alongside an unflappable Friedrich Merz last Wednesday at the White House seemed like just another provocation from the U.S. president, however, they held some truth. Although the government insisted from day one that the United States does not use the Rota and Morón bases for the attack on Iran, the reality is that these two enclaves are essential and strategic in the offensive. They are needed as a gateway to the Mediterranean, and they are being used. Also in this war against Iran. There were no fewer than 40 flight movements to and from Morón and Rota. These include five landings and take-offs of a Beech aircraft that used the two bases in Andalusia and Torrejón for round trips to/from Morocco. Particularly noteworthy are 24 combat aircraft take-offs - some aircraft on multiple missions - to operate in the attacks on Iran with a prior stopover in Germany and Italy.
Over the 7 monitored days, there are repeated flights of strategic transport aircraft - the C-17 Globemaster, C-130 Hercules, and C-5 Super Galaxy - along with several KC-135 Stratotanker tanker aircraft. The activity pattern shows clear peaks on three days - February 27, March 1, and March 5 - with up to eight daily movements, indicating a relatively intense logistical bridge activation. The reason? The United States' strategy to be able to use the Spanish bases without directly exploiting them." msn

Flash floods wash away crops, roads in Morocco
"Provinces of Agouatim and Moulay Brahim in Al Haouz were hit by severe thunderstorms and heavy rains that caused flash floods in valleys such as Ghghaya and Bahja. The floods swept away cars, submerged homes in the village of Akni, disrupted traffic between Marrakech and Moulay Brahim, and damaged shops and residences.
Authorities mobilized equipment to carry out emergency repairs and works.
Flooding was also felt in the Imlil region, where torrents carrying massive boulders and tree trunks devastated crops and washed away entire sections of roads.
In the Drâa-Tafilalet region, floods cut off several major roads, paralyzing traffic and leaving vehicles stuck in the sand." AfricaNews

Record-breaking heat in Morocco spurs demand for air conditioning
"As Morocco endures a severe heat wave this summer, temperatures have risen significantly
above the usual averages in various areas. Cities such as Marrakech, Fez, and Casablanca are recording daily highs surpassing 45°C (113°F), making it increasingly challenging for residents, particularly the elderly and those with health issues.
In reaction, the demand for air conditioning units has skyrocketed. Appliance retailers nationwide are witnessing a notable surge in sales, with some even running out of inventory.
Many Moroccans are relying on air conditioning as the sole dependable method to escape the intense heat, despite worries about electricity usage and escalating energy costs." AfricaNews

Moreover, during identification at the police station, he had threatened police officers and the Christian population, claiming that he wanted to avenge the deaths in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Angry Mobs Target American, Israeli Outposts Throughout Middle East
"Angry mobs throughout the Middle East and North Africa targeted Israeli, American, French, and other Western embassies.
In Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, protesters surrounded the embassies of the United States and France, attempting but failing to storm them. Protesters also targeted the headquarters of a United Nations Mideast program in the capital; video published by local outlets showed the area outside the United Nations building on fire.
In Turkey, mobs of angry Muslim men convened in both the capital, Ankara, and the largest city, Istanbul, as well as several other mid-sized communities in the country. The secularist newspaper Cumhuriyet reported that a mob formed outside of the Israeli consulate in Istanbul, blocking traffic and threatening the building. In Malatya, Turkey, local reports claimed that hundreds of protesters got in their cars and attempted to drive towards the Kurecik Radar Station, a U.S. military outpost, to protest America’s solidarity with Israel in the face of the atrocious terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7.
The French embassy in Tunisia, also attracted a threatening mob. The Tunisian TAP News Agency reported that protesters in front of the embassy numbered into the hundreds and that they demanded the expulsion of both the American and French ambassadors from the country in response to the falsely alleged Israeli attack on the Gaza hospital.
Reports of widespread protests also erupted in Iraq and Iran. In Iraq, the local al-Sumaria television claimed that protesters chose Baghdad’s Tahrir Square for their manifestation. Iraq’s al-Rasheed TV published footage of a large crowd of men carrying a Palestinian flag and chanting Allahu akbar, or “Allah is supreme,” a common rallying cry for jihadists around the world.....protests also erupted in Morocco, Yemen, and Iran." British supermarkets begin rationing vegetables
"The UK’s largest grocer, Tesco, has joined rivals Asda, Morrisons and
Aldi by slapping limits on purchases of salad vegetables due to supply
shortages, the company announced....Analysts say the current troubles stem from two reasons. Firstly,
suppliers in Morocco and Spain, the UK's biggest sources of fresh
vegetables in the winter, have been suffering from cold temperatures,
rain and flooding over the past month, which disrupted harvests and
halted deliveries. Secondly, the UK’s own farmers have been struggling
to power their greenhouses due to rising energy prices." RT

British ‘Mercenaries’ in Ukraine Sentenced to Death by Pro-Russia Separatists
"27-year-old Aiden Aslin and 48-year-old Shaun Pinner, said to have been
captured in the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol in April over the course
of its long siege by Russian forces, were sentenced to death for, as
Russian state media puts it, “violently attempting to overthrow the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic”, as was Moroccan national Saadun Brahim." Breitbart
