Zelensky introduces sanctions against 200 persons affiliated with Russia

"President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine signed a decree implementing the decision of the  National Security and Defense Council of February 12 to impose sanctions against 200 persons affiliated with the Russian Federation.

Decree No. 75/2023, together with the NSDC decision and its annex. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has been instructed to inform the authorities in the eu, United States of America and other countries about the sanctions and to raise with them the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.

The sanctions, which will be in effect for 50 years, include an asset freeze, trade restrictions of its complete suspension; restriction, partial or complete suspension of asset transit, travel ban across Ukraine; prevention of capital withdrawal from Ukraine; suspension of economic and financial obligations, etc." UKRIN
