Huckabee Has a Great Idea for Where to Put a Palestinian State

"France and Saudi Arabia are rushing in to save the day. They’re planning to come to New York City, which is an odd choice of venue, as it is neither in France nor Saudi Arabia, next month in order to establish that entity that all too many people still fondly assume will bring a definitive end to the jihad against Israel: a Palestinian state. U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, however, takes a dim view of the French-Saudi plans, and has offered the French some barbed advice on how to proceed.

Huckabee, according to a Saturday Fox News report, said that it was "incredibly inappropriate in the midst of a war that Israel is dealing with to go out and present something that I think increasingly Israelis are steadfast against.” Indeed, a majority of Israelis now oppose the “two-state solution,” after supporting it for a long time. That’s only reasonable, as it’s impossible to sustain the idea that the Palestinian Arabs will live side-by-side in peace with an Israel of any size. It’s much more likely that a Palestinian state would become a new jihad base for increased attacks against what’s left of Israel, just as Gaza did after the Israelis unilaterally withdrew from it in 2005.
Then he offered a modest proposal to the French diplomats who apparently plan to establish a Palestinian state without any input at all from the Israelis: “If France is really so determined to see a Palestinian state, I have a suggestion for them–carve out a piece of the French Riviera and create a Palestinian state.”
Huckabee continued by saying that the French were “welcome to do that,” that is, establish a Palestinian state on the French Riviera, “but they are not welcome to impose that kind of pressure on a sovereign nation. And I find it revolting that they think they have the right to do such a thing.” Indeed. Huckabee added that even though the French and the Saudis plan this display of virtue-signaling and Jew-hatred on American soil, the Trump administration will not be playing along. “I hope they will reconsider,” Huckabee said, “but the U.S. will not participate. Pro-Ukraine partisans sabotage railway in Russia-occupied Donetsk Oblast

"The Atesh partisan group sabotaged a railway in occupied Donetsk Oblast, disrupting Russian logistics, the group claimed in a Telegram post on June 1.
Operatives with the group destroyed a relay box on the new Volnovakha-Mariupol railway, which was recently built by occupying Russian forces. As a result, the railway signalling and traffic control system was disrupted, Atesh said.
The impacted railway has been reportedly used by Russian forces to deliver fuel, equipment, and ammunition directly to the frontline.
The Volnovakha-Mariupol railway connects occupied Donetsk oblast to Taganrog, a city in southwestern Russia, allowing Moscow's military forces to bypass Crimea and transfer cargo faster and with fewer risks, according to Atesh." KI

7 killed, 69 injured in train derailment in Russia's Bryansk Oblast following bridge collapse

"At least seven people are dead and another 69 injured after a train derailed in Russia's Bryansk Oblast overnight on May 31, following the collapse of an overhead road bridge, Bryansk Oblast Governor Alexander Bogomaz said.
At least three children have been injured in the derailment, with one being treated in hospital with serious injuries. The conductor of the train has been killed in the incident, Russian-state media outlet TASS reported.

Lavrov dismisses Vatican as possible venue for Russia-Ukraine peace talks

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on May 24 cast doubt on the Vatican as a possible venue for future peace talks with Ukraine, saying the Catholic seat would not be an appropriate platform for negotiations between two Orthodox Christian nations.

Previously, Pope Leo XIV expressed his willingness to host the next round of peace talks in the Vatican. Several of Ukraine's partners, including the United States, have suggested that the Vatican could become a neutral platform for further negotiations.
"Imagine the Vatican as a venue for negotiations," Lavrov reportedly said during a speech at the Diplomatic Academy in Moscow. “It would be a bit inelegant for Orthodox countries to use a Catholic platform to discuss issues on how to remove the root causes (of the war)."

Victims Fight For Life After Mass Stabbing at German Railway Station, One Female Arrested

"Twelve people are injured and three of them are in “mortal danger” after a mass stabbing at Germany’s Hamburg Central railway station.
The attacks appear to have been at random among people crowded on the railway platform during the evening rush hour.

A mass stabbing was perpetrated at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof on Friday evening. A female suspect, as of yet unidentified, has been taken into custody, reports Germany’s Bild.
At least 12 people were injured. Three of these were said by paramedics to be in “mortal danger” and fighting for life. The attack, which took place on the platform between tracks 13 and 14 at the station was left slicked with blood.
The attack is the second mass stabbing in Germany in a matter of days. As previously reported, a stabbing in the early hours of Sunday morning in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, allegedly by a Syrian migrant was days later classified as a possible terror attack after Islamist literature was found on the attacker and at his home. "At least two staffers with the Israeli embassy were reportedly shot and killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, on Wednesday night.

One witness claimed that the individual who committed the killing shouted, “Free Palestine,” repeatedly while being escorted out by police.

Trump Unveils $175 Billion Plan For "Golden Dome" Missile Defense System

"The Department of Defense has selected a design for President Donald Trump’s “Golden Dome” missile defense initiative, Trump announced.

“I’m pleased to announce that we have officially selected an architecture for this state-of-the-art system that will deploy next-generation technologies across the land, sea, and space, including space-based sensors and interceptors,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
In his first week in office, Trump signed an executive order directing the Department of Defense to devise a plan to implement his missile defense proposal.
“It should be fully operational before the end of my term. So we'll have it done in about three years,” the president said.
Trump said the plan the Department of Defense has selected should cost about $175 billion to complete.
The plan will meld new technologies with existing U.S. missile defense systems.
Canada may also partner with the United States to help develop the improved missile defense shield, the president said. “Canada wants to be a part of it, which would be a fairly small expansion, but we'll work with them on pricing.”

The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later.
Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree.
There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country.
