Trump on Thailand-Cambodia Ceasefire Right After EU Trade Deal: ‘Millions of People Are Going to Be Saved’

"President Donald Trump told Breitbart News that the unconditional ceasefire he negotiated between Thailand and Cambodia while here in Scotland will save millions of lives in the two southeast Asian nations.

That deal, of course, came right on the heels of another major deal the president announced here in Scotland during this short trip to his mother’s homeland: On Sunday evening, after just about an hour of negotiations, Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a massive trade deal between the United States and the European Union, which von der Leyen described as the “biggest trade deal ever.”
Later, Trump departed for Aberdeen on Scotland’s other coast, where the president is opening a new golf course named for his Scottish-born mother, Mary Anne MacLeod."

172 frontline clashes in past day

"172 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded, more than half of which took place in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions.
Ten combat engagements took place in the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out 14 air strikes, dropped 28 guided bombs, and carried out 308 shelling attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the Russian army stormed the positions of the Defense Forces seven times in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, and Krasnyi Pershe.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were six attacks by the invaders. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian assaults in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Kindrashivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 32 times, trying to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops in the areas of the settlements of Novoyegorivka, Karpivka, Zelena Dolina, Yampolivka, and in the direction of Dronivka and Serebrianka.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces stopped four Russian attacks near Hryhorivka and towards Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked once in the direction of Predtechyno.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 10 attacks in the areas of Dyliivka, Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assaults by the Russian army in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Lysivka, Chunyishyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikove, Zelenyi Kut, and Dachne." Ukrin

"U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his “love” for Russians and called them a “great people.” At the same time, he threatened Moscow with more sanctions and set a new deadline for settling the Ukraine conflict.

Trump said he has “always gotten along with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin,” during a Q&A session with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Turnberry, Scotland on Monday. He praised Russia as a “rich” nation that could be “thriving like practically no other country” and spoke about the massive trade potential between Russia and the U.S.
“I don’t want to do that to Russia, I love the Russian people,” he said when asked about new sanctions.
He expressed his disappointment over the slow pace of the peace process between Moscow and Kiev and accused Russia of striking Ukrainian cities. Trump said he was “not interested in talking anymore” as his numerous “respectful and nice conversations” with Putin led to nothing." RT
