A violent earthquake strikes Guatemala. Homes collapse

"Southern Guatemala was shaken by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake followed by multiple
aftershocks ranging from 3.9 to 5.6 authorities urged people to evacuate buildings as a precaution. Photos showed cracked structures and minor damage. Emergency teams were dispatched to assess schools, hospitals, and roads.

"At least two people were killed and 16 injured in Kyiv as
Russia launched a mass attack against Ukraine for the second night in a row, rocking Ukraine's capital and cities far from the front lines overnight. Kyiv Independent journalists on the ground began reporting explosions in the capital and the buzzing of Shahed-type drones. Reporters said large numbers of drones were flying over the Pechersk neighborhood, a historical district in the city center.
Later in the night, reporters said they heard several dozen explosions and the distinctive sound of ballistic missiles. At least an hour of near-constant explosions rolled through the city." KI

Servicemen arrested in Canada over ‘terrorist’ plot

"Canadian police have detained two active servicemen and two other individuals with links to
the country’s military as part of an anti-terrorism case. The suspects allegedly sought to establish an “anti-government militia” and were in possession of a sizable arsenal of weapons.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced the arrest of four men, “including active members of the Canadian Armed Forces,” who are suspected of having plotted to “forcibly take possession of land in the Quebec City area.
In a separate statement cited by the media, the Canadian Armed Forces confirmed that two of the suspects were active-duty corporals, another one was a former member of the military, and the fourth man previously served as a civilian instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets." RT

201 clashes on front lines in past day

"Ukrainian forces engaged in 201 combat clashes with Russian invaders.
Russian
airstrikes targeted the areas of Okhrimivka, Kruhle, Odradne, and Artilne in the Kharkiv region; Shakhove, Poltavka, Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Rusyn Yar, and Novopavlivka in the Donetsk region; Verbove, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Plavni, and Mykhailivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; and Odradokamianka in the Kherson region.

aircraft, missile forces, and artillery struck 13 concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment, two UAV control centers, and two Russian command and observation posts.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, 14 clashes were recorded. The enemy launched seven airstrikes using 12 guided bombs and conducted 281 artillery attacks, including three from MLRS.

Russian forces carried out 13 assaults near Vovchansk, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Ambarne, and toward Lyptsi and Petro-Ivanivka.

Russian attacks were reported near Stepova Novoselivka, Radkivka, and toward Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector,
Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 30 times near Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Serednie, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, and toward Serebrianka.
In the Siversk sector, seven attacks were recorded near Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyiimka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, four engagements occurred near Bila Hora, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, eight enemy attacks were recorded near Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and toward Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector,
