Typhoon Kajiki drenches southern China’s Hainan island

"Strong winds and heavy rain whipped southern
China’s Hainan island and nearby parts of Guangdong province on Sunday, as Typhoon Kajiki passed over open waters to the south and headed toward Vietnam’s central coast.

Russian Nuclear Power Plant Damaged In Ukrainian Drone Attack, IAEA Monitors Radiation

Russia has accused Ukraine of launching a drone strike on the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, which sparked a fire and damaged an auxiliary transformer, resulting in a 50% reduction in the output of reactor number three.
Several other energy facilities were also reportedly targeted during the overnight strikes, involving likely hundreds of drones.
Russia's military said that it intercepted nearly one hundred of them across various locations in the south.
The
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) weighed in on the Sunday attack, saying the agency is monitoring the situation and that radiation levels around the Kursk plant remain normal." ZH

"The USGS is reporting a third earthquake, this one the strongest, in the past 24 hours in Deep East Texas.

A magnitude 3.2 was recorded 3.5 miles west-southwest of Huxley and 43.5 miles east-northeast of Nacogdoches at 9:02 p.m. Thursday.
A 3.0 was recorded in the same area on Thursday at 3:14 p.m. A second was at 8:02 p.m. and was a magnitude 2.6." KLTV3

179 clashes on frontline

"179 combat clashes took place between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian troops.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors,
Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks. Russian troops used 25 guided aerial bombs on these front areas, and also shelled the sectors 176 times.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russians tried ten times to break through the defense lines in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, Kamianka, and toward Zelene.
In the Kupiansk sector, the
Russian army launched six attacks yesterday. Defence Forces repelled the assaults in the Zahryzove area and toward Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, the invaders attacked 20 times, tried to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Myrne, and toward Shandryholove, Dronivka, and Serebrianka.
