"A Russian RUSSdrone attack on a bus outside Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast killed at least 12
miners and injured 16 others on Feb. 1, according to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy firm.
The strike came amid a broader Russian assault on DTEK mines, the company said. The drone hit a service bus in Ternivka as it was carrying miners after their shift.

Russian airstrikes targeted Luzhky in the Sumy region, Malomykhailivka, Prosiana, and Novoselivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Ternuvate, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Shevchenkivske, Vilniansk, and Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, Ukrainian missile and artillery forces struck two concentrations of enemy personnel, two command posts, and one other high-value target of the Russian invaders.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack over the past day. The enemy carried out 82 shelling attacks, including four with multiple launch rocket systems.In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted 25 times to breach Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Prylipka, and in the direction of Hrafske, Vilcha, Vovchanski Khutory, Kolodiazne, Fyholivka, and Kutkivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, 12 enemy attacks were recorded. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults toward Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Kurylivka, Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka, and Hlushkivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 24 attacks, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses near Drobysheve, Serednie, Novoselivka, and Zarichne, and in the direction of Stavky, Novoserhiivka, Shyikivka, Stepove, and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 15 attempts by Russian forces to advance near Yampil and Dronivka, and toward Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy launched five attacks near Chasiv Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 39 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and Kleban-Byk, and in the direction of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 80 enemy assaults near Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Filiia, and in the direction of Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Novopidhhorodne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, and Ivanivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out 11 attacks over the past day near Verbove and in the direction of Oleksandrohrad, Danylivka, Vyshneve, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
In the Huliaipole sector, 45 enemy attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Myrne, and Solodke, and in the direction of Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene, and Staroukrainka.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Stepnohirsk and Plavni.: Ukrin
"A strong magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the Persian Gulf near the coast of Bushehr, Iran, in the morning at 8.41 am local time (Asia/Tehran GMT +3:30). The depth of the quake could not be determined, but is assumed to be shallow.
