Clashes erupt at anti-corruption protests in Philippines

"Almost 50,000 people took to the streets of the Philippines capital, Manila, on Sunday to

protest corruption. The rally was marred by scuffles between the demonstrators and the officers.
People are angry over the mismanagement of thousands of flood-control projects in the country that cost more than $9.5 billion. In July, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. established an independent commission to investigate what he called “anomalies” during their construction.
The protesters at Manila’s Luneta Park waved national flags and chanted “Jail them!” as they demanded the prosecution of both officials and entrepreneurs involved in the alleged corrupt schemes." RT

156 combat engagements on frontline

"156 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the frontline.
The Air Force, Rocket Forces, and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck two command posts, nine areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, three UAV command posts, an artillery unit in position, and two Russian military equipment depots.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled six invading attacks. The enemy carried out 14 air strikes, using 34 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 165 shellings, including 11 with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russian army made 13 attempts to break through the defense lines in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhe, Zakhidne, and toward Odradne.
Six Russian attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector. Defense Forces repelled assaults in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops carried out 21 attacks, attempting to break through the defense lines in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Torske, and Novoselivka.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the areas of Serebrianka and toward Vyimka and Yampil.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders attacked three times toward Stupochky and Novomarkove.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops carried out 11 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 49 Russian assault attempts in the areas of the settlements of Pankivka, Nykanorivka, Novoekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotlyne, and Dachne.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near the settlements of Filiia, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, and Zaporizke.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four Russian attacks near Olhivske and toward Poltavka.

Russian propaganda attempts to link Charlie Kirk's murder to Ukraine

WW3 Watch: British Fighter Jets Conduct NATO Mission over Poland After Russian Drone Incursion

"British Royal Air Force fighter jets conducted a NATO defense mission over the skies of Poland in response to Russian drone incursions, the Ministry of Defense has disclosed.

Earlier this month, Warsaw claimed that 19 Russian drones entered Polish airspace amid large-scale strikes throughout Ukraine, forcing the NATO ally to scramble its air forces and shoot down Russian drones since the start of the conflict in Eastern Europe. It was followed by Russian drones entering Romanian airspace and this week by three Russian fighters allegedly entering Estonian airspace.
In a show of force, two British Typhoon fighter jets were deployed for a defensive mission across the skies of Poland on Friday evening, the UK’s Ministry of Defense said on Saturday.
The MOD revealed that the two jets, supported by an RAF Voyager aircraft, patrolled Polish airspace to “deter and defend against aerial threats from Russia, including drones” before returning to the UK early Saturday morning."
