"Lots of shaking, of course, the massive earthquakes back toward Venezuela.
Elsewhere though, we've had additional quakes yesterday itself was rather active.....back toward the Dominican Republic, 5.0 in magnitude....shaking felt in Puerto Rico, back toward Haiti with this one. But there were multiple back near Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica. Some of the shaking fell 5.2 in magnitude about 120 km down or 75 miles down. And then on top of that, we had another one offshore of Antigua, Barbados, offshore of Guadolupe, 4.6 in magnitude. " Mr.Weatherman

Honduras orders military intervention after mass killings
"Honduras has ordered an immediate large-scale military and police deployment across the country's northern and eastern regions after a wave of violence left at least 24 people dead in less than 48 hours, including five anti-gang officers killed near the Guatemalan border. In a televised address, Honduran President Nasry Asfura described the killings as "another wound Honduras does not deserve" and vowed that those responsible would face justice.
He said his administration would confront drug trafficking groups and criminal gangs "without fear, with determination and with force."
The deadliest attack occurred in the rural community of Rigores in the municipality of Trujillo, in the Colón department along Honduras' Caribbean coast. Armed assailants using high-caliber weapons opened fire on a group of people gathered at a local farm.
Public Ministry spokesman Yuri Mora said forensic teams processed two separate crime scenes on the property and confirmed that 19 people had been executed." msn

Another 'Trump-Like' Candidate Is Elected in Latin America
"The recent presidential elections in Honduras felt like the never-ending story in recent weeks, but we can officially report that Nasry "Tito" Asfura is the winner. He's the conservative candidate who was backed by Trump earlier this year. It was close. Asfura received just over 40% of the vote, while center-right candidate Salvador Nasralla got about 39.5%. The far-left socialist candidate, Rixi Moncada, who was hand-picked by the sitting president received about 19% of the vote.
Tito Asfura's victory is a resounding defeat for narco-socialism and a clear signal that freedom is once again prevailing in Honduras." PJM
