Uprising In Indonesia As Army Take To Streets - Government On Brink
"Violent clashes have erupted across Indonesia, boiling into the biggest test of Prabowo Subianto's 10-month presidency, with at least four people killed in separate incidents. Southeast Asia's biggest economy has been simmering with discontent in recent weeks over economic issues such as financial perks for lawmakers, but a motorcycle gig driver's death sparked widespread protests.During that protest, a black tactical van from the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) paramilitary unit ran over and killed 21-year-old driver Affan Kurniawan.
The footage went viral and stoked further anger over police tactics.
Protests escalated after Affan's death, with rallies starting in cities across the country.
Thousands, many of them "ojek" motorcycle drivers like Affan, protested in front of the Brimob headquarters and the police office in Jakarta.
Protesters hurled firecrackers, Molotov cocktails and rocks, while others started fires.
Protests also began in cities such as Yogyakarta, Bandung, Solo and Semarang in Java, and in Medan in Sumatra." IF

Prominent Ukrainian Politician Assassinated In Broad Daylight On Streets Of Lviv
"Former Ukrainian parliamentary speaker Andriy Parubiy - a prominent voice on the hardline Ukrainian right - was shot and killed in the western city of Lviv on Saturday, grabbingheadlines in Ukraine and internationally, and resulting in an urgent manhunt for the assailant. He had been walking casually near his home on a sidewalk when he was executed in the street.
The country's Prosecutor General’s Office described Parubiy was fatally shot multiple times by an unidentified gunman who quickly fled the scene. It appeared to be a professional hit or assassination, given authorities described a gunman dressed as a courier on an e-bike as the killer. The assassin never removes his helmet during the attack from behind.
The 54-year old Parubiy served as speaker of Ukraine’s parliament from April 2016 to August 2019 and was a prominent figure and organizer of 2014 Euromaidan protests (or Maidan coup) and anti-Russian/pro-EU coup events which ousted President Viktor Yanukovych, and in many ways led to the current Russia-Ukraine war." Thousands of Killed Ukrainian Troops Under Official Draft Age, Russian Hackers Reveal
"KillNet, a pro-Russian cyberactivist group famous for its DDoS attacks against digitalinfrastructure of some NATO countries, previously revealed that it had hacked the Ukrainian general staff's database containing information on killed and missing Ukrainian servicemen.

Packing hailstones up to 5 cm wide and winds near 90 km/h, the Alberta storm smashed windows, pummeled cars, and tore through entire neighborhoods, leaving them looking like disaster zones. This extreme Alberta storm also triggered flash flooding, uprooted trees, and caused major infrastructure failures across multiple communities. Meteorologists say the Alberta storm formed as cold northern air collided with warm southern fronts, fueling an explosive system that turned deadly." SW
