"Eight people were injured after Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv early July 11, with damage reported in multiple districts of the Ukrainian capital, local officials said.

The injured include an 11-year-old boy. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said four of the injured were hospitalized, while the others received medical treatment at the scene.
Kyiv Independent journalists on the ground initially reported hearing explosions at around 3:40 a.m. local time. Ukraine's Air Force subsequently warned that Russian ballistic missiles were heading toward the capital.
