"Hungary will not supply weapons or military equipment to Ukraine, the country’s newly elected prime minister, Peter Magyar, said on Thursday shortly after meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels.Magyar’s center-right Tisza party defeated Viktor Orban’s Fidesz last month, securing a two-thirds parliamentary majority. EU officials, who had previously criticized Orban as a Kremlin-friendly politician, voiced support for Magyar ahead of the election and were widely seen as expecting him to roll back many of the previous government’s policies.
Magyar, however, is far closer to Orban politically than the former prime minister opponents would like to admit. “I informed the Secretary General that Hungary is not supplying weapons or military equipment to Ukraine,” Magyar said in a post on X.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban, a member of Magyar’s Tisza party, had previously said Hungary “stands for peace” and rejects sending either troops or weapons to Ukraine." RT

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, five clashes were recorded. Russian forces carried out seven airstrikes, dropped 15 guided bombs, and conducted 99 shelling attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, Russian troops attempted nine assaults near Starytsia, Prylipky, Veterynarne, Sheviakivka, and Lyman, as well as toward Izbytske and Ternova.On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks near Kivsharivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Kupiansk.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian forces stopped 46 assault attempts near Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, Russian troops carried out two attacks near Sicheneve and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole axis, 32 assaults were recorded near Myrne, Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne." Ukrin

Russia uses its shadow fleet of aging, often underinsured tankers to bypass international sanctions on its oil trade. Western officials have also raised concerns that the vessels may be linked to broader Russian hybrid activities in Europe, including espionage and drone operations.

The refinery, owned by major Russian energy company Lukoil, was set ablaze as a result of the Ukrainian drone attack, independent Russian Telegram news channel Astra reported. "A drone struck a residential building in Galati, Romania, overnight on May 29, Romania'sDefense Ministry confirmed, after an air raid alert was declared in all of Ukraine.
"The Russian Federation resumed drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, in the vicinity of the river border with Romania," the statement read.
"A drone entered Romanian airspace, being tracked by radar to the southern area of the city of Galati, and crashed onto the roof of a block of apartments, the impact sparking a fire."
