Transnistria Assembly Fuels Speculation Separatist State Aims To Join Russia

"The faltering bid of congressional warhawks to continue to provide Ukraine with a blank check isn't the only sign of Russia's geopolitical strength in eastern Europe. As the future of the war in Ukraine hinges on that crucial aid package, another region has emerged as evidence of Russia's growing sphere of influence. Pridnestrovie, a region bordering Ukraine known better under the western exonym Transnistria, is scheduled to address Russian President Vladimir Putin at its next congressional assembly on February 28th. The forthcoming address appears to the latest step in a trajectory trending toward the breakaway state seeking complete separation from Romania and assimilation into the Russian Federation." ZH

Russia Says Navalny Died Of Natural Causes As Western MSM Anoints Widow "Newest Opposition Leader"

"Russian authorities have said that the opposition activist Aleksei Navalny died of natural causes while in prison in a far northern Arctic penal colony. It comes nearly a full week after Russian prison services announced he died on Feb.16.
There's now a public fight over his body, and the question of a funeral service, as his family and legal team have complained they are being denied access to the deceased. Condemnations have come in from various Western countries, and have pointed at the Putin government, ultimately blaming the Kremlin for his death while in custody. Navalny's mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya, has newly accused Russian officials of seeking to pressure her into accepting a secret burial, presumably to prevent it from becoming a major televised memorial event. Navalny's legal team has seen a death report saying his death was "natural" - however, few other specifics has been made public.
Meanwhile, Western press has already hailed that his wife Yulia is carrying on the work of team Navalny and will lead the political "opposition" against Putin. Name recognition inside Russia is a whole different question..." ZH

Polish Farmers Blockade Ukrainian Border, Undermining Globalist PM Tusk and Angering Zelensky

"Polish farmers brought the border with Ukraine to a complete standstill with their tractors as they protested the “uncontrolled” flows of cheap produce from their war-torn neighbor, which they claim has severely undermined their ability to remain in business.
In a significant blow to recently installed globalist Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who has vowed to be the most “pro-Ukrainian politician in Europe,” farmers from his country riled Kyiv once again by shutting down the border crossings at Lublin and Podkarpackie with hundreds of tractors, completely blocking off large transport trucks from coming in and out of the country and sparking queues dozens of miles long, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
Flying the red and white Polish flags, tractors bore signs reading: “Stop the uncontrolled influx of Ukrainian goods” and “Agriculture is dying little by little."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the tractor blockade of the border by truckers and farmers was indicative of an “erosion of solidarity” towards Ukraine." MichaelSavage.com

Protests by farmers block highways to Paris and elsewhere in France

"For the second day in a row, thousands of angry French farmers have blocked major highways leading in and out of the French capital. They're calling it the "siege" of Paris.
The protests are part of an intensifying standoff between farmers and the French government. Farmers have slapped the government with a long list of grievances, including complaints about low wages and what they deem to be unfair foreign competition and over-regulation.
For example, farmers say they're frustrated with
European Union subsidy rules — in particular, a new requirement to leave 4% of farmland fallow.
Others have complained about skyrocketing energy and fertilizer prices." NPR

The farmers – whose demands are similar to those at farmer protests elsewhere in Europe – have spent weeks staging sporadic blockades along highways and in rural towns. Farmers in central Greece are also still reeling from major floods last year." Breitbart

Iran-backed Houthi rebels just shot down an MQ-9 Reaper, costing the US another $30 million combat drone

"The Houthis shot down an American MQ-9 Reaper drone off the coast of Yemen. Reaper drones can be well-armed with Hellfire missiles and precision bombs, and are capable of operating at high altitudes for long periods of time. The MQ-9, which costs around $30 million and has a wingspan over 20 feet longer than an F-15 Eagle, can be used to collect valuable intelligence and carry out high-level strikes for the US military."
