Russia Hit With Four Earthquakes

"Three moderate earthquakes struck off the coast of Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula early Monday, shaking the same offshore region within a two-hour window and drawing attention to heightened seismic activity in the North Pacific.
The first and strongest quake, a magnitude 5.2, hit at 12:06 a.m. universal coordinated time (UTC) 63 miles east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 21.8 miles, according to USGS data. About an hour later, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake followed roughly 57 miles east-northeast of the same city, registering at a depth of 35.3 miles.
The third quake, a magnitude 5.1, struck at 1:39 a.m. UTC just 57 miles east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with a depth of 37 miles.
A fourth quake, of magnitude 6.0, struck in the same area later in the day, according to the USGS. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 15.2 miles and was centered in the North Pacific Ocean." Newsweek
