Ukraine's ambassador warns of pivotal eight weeks ahead of Trump's inauguration
"The next eight weeks will be the most critical and challenging in Ukraine's history since 1991, Ukraine's Ambassador to Brazil, Andriy Melnyk, said in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty on Nov. 24.
The statements by newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump about his readiness to end the Russian war against Ukraine within 24 hours should be taken seriously, he argues. In Melnyk's opinion, the U.S. president-elect is the only one who can radically change the situation.
However, Melnyk noted that Trump is unlikely to "share the laurels of peacemaker" with countries like China or Brazil, which have also proposed their "peace plans" for Ukraine. Therefore, Melnyk stressed that all of Ukraine's efforts—diplomatic, political, and societal—should be focused on these "eight critical weeks" leading up to Donald Trump's inauguration.
"So, we have very little time—the inauguration is on Jan. 20, less than two months away," Melnyk stated, noting that Ukrainian diplomacy should primarily focus on Florida, where Trump spends most of his time.
The diplomat believes that the worst-case scenario would be if decisions about Ukraine are "imposed over our heads."
"When the day of inauguration comes, I fear that by then a decision will have been made, and it will be harder for us," Melnyk said.

"Podcaster Joe Rogan has accused President Biden and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky of trying to “start World War III.”
Rogan on Friday slammed Biden for recently approving the Ukrainian president’s request to use US-made long-range missiles against Russia to fight off the Kremlin’s invasion.
“How are you allowed to do that when you’re on your way out?” Rogan said of lame-duck outgoing President Biden. “There should be some sort of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III.”
Zelensky has long pleaded for approval to use US-supplied Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to attack targets in Russia, a request Biden finally approved last week.
Britain then approved the use of its Storm Shadow missile — a weapon similar to the ATACMS — sparking Russia to fire a new hypersonic ballistic missile at Ukraine.

Mysterious Drone Swarms Detected Over UK Airbases Hosting US Stealth Jets
"The growing presence of mysterious drone swarms at or near US military bases has become a significant cause for concern. Reports suggest these unmanned aerial systems have now been spotted over British military installations.
The Guardian reports that drone swarms have been spotted over three UK airbases: RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk between last Wednseday and Friday.
The US 48th Fighter Wing is stationed at RAF Lakenheath. This base is home to the only F-15 wing in Europe, which includes two F-15E Strike Eagle squadrons and two F-35A Lightning II squadrons.

Trump Releases Video: ‘We Have Never Been Closer to WWIII Than We Are Today’
"President-Elect Donald Trump posted a three and-a-half minute video addressing the realistic danger of World War III. “We have never been closer to World War Three than we are today under Joe Biden” the video began.
This week, news broke that Vladimir Putin ‘lowered the nuclear weapons threshold’ after the Biden administration supplied Ukraine with missiles.
“A global conflict between nuclear armed powers would mean death and destruction on a scale unmatched in human history. It would be nuclear armageddon. nothing is more important than avoiding that nightmare” Trump continued.
“Everyday this proxy battle continues, we risk global war. We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to immediately have a total secession of hostilities…
There must also be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neocon establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad while they turn us into a third world country and a third world dictatorship right here at home” Trump stated.
“The state department, the defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services and all the rest need to be completely overhauled and reconstituted to fire the deep staters and put America first…
Finally we have to finish the process we began under my administration of fundamentally reevaluating NATOs purpose and NATOs mission. our foreign policy establishment keeps trying to pull the world into conflict with a nuclear armed Russia based on the lie that Russia represents our greatest threat…
