"In Engels, Russia, in the Saratov Oblast, an unidentified motorcyclist injured an officer of the

russian Aerospace Forces; the officer was hospitalized in serious condition. The victim is likely Nikolay Varpakhovich, whom the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine have charged in absentia in connection with the missile strike on the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital.
It is reported that the officer was attacked by an unknown assailant on a motorcycle as he was leaving a store in the village of Probuzhdeniye in the Engels District. The assailant shot him twice: one bullet struck him in the face, and the other in the body. The man was taken to a hospital in Saratov with injuries, while the attacker fled." NU
