Ukraine sounds alarm over situation in Oleshky, where starving people are forced to eat grass

"Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has said the humanitarian situation in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson Oblast is critical and called on international organisations to secure humanitarian access and facilitate the evacuation of residents.
Sybiha said there is almost no food left in Oleshky and reports indicate that some civilians are being forced to eat grass and weeds to survive.

Russian forces launched 90 airstrikes, dropping 289 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 10,489 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,729 attacks, 26 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Sumy region, the settlements of Bezsalivka, Koreniok, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopych, Kucherivka, Fotovyzh, Yastrubshchyna, Bachivsk, Shpyl, Hirky, Havrylova Sloboda, Starykove, Prohres and Nova Huta came under Russian artillery fire.
