Trump signs Greenland deal

"President Donald Trump signed a security deal with the leaders of Greenland and Denmark on Tuesday, granting the United States wide-ranging powers to secure and defend the Arctic island as it remains Danish territory.

Trump, signing the deal with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen, said it had been an “amazing journey” with “tremendous people,” adding that the deal will be “tremendous for Europe and for the United States, for everybody, and for Greenland.”
Frederiksen called the deal a “bigger and better” agreement than the 1951 treaty that outlines the sovereignty of Greenland, while Nielsen said it reflected a focus on the “people of Greenland, our rights, our livelihoods and the development of our country.”

Ukraine attacks radiation monitor at Europe’s largest nuclear power plant

"A Ukrainian drone strike has damaged a radiation monitoring post near the Zaporozhye

Nuclear Power Plant, the facility said on Tuesday.
The station was located near the village of Ivanovka, around 13 km from the nuclear plant, and formed part of the system used to track radiation levels in the surrounding area. Such posts regularly collect data on background radiation, allowing specialists to detect changes and respond quickly if conditions deteriorate.
The plant said the remaining monitoring equipment and capacity were sufficient to continue observing radiation levels, but noted that the loss of the station has reduced the amount of data that could be quickly gathered from that particular area." RT

Russia launches ballistic missile attack on Interpipe plant in Dnipro

"Overnight, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on a civilian industrial facility belonging to the Interpipe company in Dnipro. The enemy attack resulted in casualties and damage to production facilities, according to the company’s press office.
Four employees were killed in the attack, and seven others were injured. All those affected are receiving immediate medical attention, and the families of the deceased are being promised all necessary support." UN

247 clashes on front line over past day

"247 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian forces were recorded on the front line.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, four enemy assault actions were recorded. The invaders carried out three airstrikes, using six guided aerial bombs, and launched 149 attacks, eight of them with multiple rocket launchers.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 14 attacks near Starytsia, Hrafskе, Lyman, and toward Malyi Burluk, Putnykove, and Radkivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy made one attempt to improve their positions toward Borova.

In the Lyman sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Novoselivka and Stavky.
