Drone threat halts flights at Russia’s Kazan Airport

"Russian aviation authorities imposed flight restrictions in Kazan Airport, Republic of
Tatarstan, in response to a threat of a possible drone attack, the Baza Telegram channel reported on Oct. 3.

Departure and arrival flights have been delayed. The planes are being redirected to alternate airfields.
Earlier that day, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed an alleged “downing” of 113 drones over Belgorod (73), Voronezh (25), Kursk (14), and Bryansk (1) oblast." NV
