Relatives of Bashar al-Assad arrested at Beirut airport using fake passports

"Authorities arrested the wife and daughter of a cousin of former Syrian dictator Bashar Assad

at Beirut’s airport on Dec. 27 as they attempted to leave using fake passports. Rasha Hazem, wife of Duraid Assad, and their daughter Shams entered Lebanon illegally and attempted to board a flight to Egypt.
