A violent earthquake strikes Guatemala. Homes collapse

"Southern Guatemala was shaken by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake followed by multiple
aftershocks ranging from 3.9 to 5.6 authorities urged people to evacuate buildings as a precaution. Photos showed cracked structures and minor damage. Emergency teams were dispatched to assess schools, hospitals, and roads.
Guatemala’s disaster agency CONRED emphasized preparedness due to the country’s location on a major seismic fault line, where past quakes have caused severe destruction." IndiaToday
