Magma is Potentially Moving Underneath a Town; Ethiopia Volcano

"Large multimeter wide cracks unexpectedly formed in close proximity to a town of 4,000 people. Gasses subsequently emerged from these cracks, indicating their origin due to presumably shallow magma. This occurred within
Ethiopia's equivalent of Death Valley, the Danakil Depression, which is undergoing one of its longest magma dike intrusions on record." SW
