France’s northern coast recorded its strongest winds during the storm, with gusts reaching up to 131 km/h (81 mph) along the coast and 110 km/h (68 mph) inland. The storm injured multiple people as it swept across northern Europe, causing over 500 000 power outages in Ireland, the United Kingdom (UK), Norway, Sweden, and France.
