5.0 Earthquake - Japan: Near Torishima

"A strong magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred in the Philippine Sea 148 km (92 mi) from Japan in the morning at 11.13 am local time (GMT +9). The quake had a great depth of 493 km (306 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
