"A very strong magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred in the South Pacific Ocean 156 km (97 mi) from Fiji in the late afternoon at 6.44 pm local time (GMT +13). The quake had a great depth of 596 km (371 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
