6.0 Earthquake - Western Indian-Antarctic Ridge

"A very strong magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in the Indian Ocean 932 km (579 mi) from Australia shortly after midnight at 12.01 am local time (GMT +9). The depth of the quake could not be determined, but is assumed to be shallow. The quake was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
