"A strong magnitude 5.7 earthquake occurred in the Sea of Japan or East Sea 263 km (163 mi) from Primorskiy Kray, Russia, in the late afternoon at 7.34 pm local time (GMT +9). The quake had a great depth of 343 km (213 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so).' VD
