"A very strong magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit 41 km (25 mi) away from Cosenza, Calabria,Italy, late in the evening at 11.12 pm local time (Europe/Rome GMT +1). The quake had a moderate depth of 243 km (151 mi) and was felt over a large region.
