"A strong magnitude 5.8 earthquake occurred in the South Pacific Ocean 87 km (54 mi) from Tonga in the morning at 9.59 am local time (GMT +13). The quake had a very shallow depth of 12 km (7 mi) and was reported felt by some people near the epicenter." VD
