Polish general dismissed from Eurocorps after counterintelligence investigation

"Polish Ministry of National Defence (MNoD) announced the dismissal of Lieutenant General

Jarosław Gromadziński as Eurocorps commander in connection with new information about the officer on 27 March, 2024.
According to the Polish Government, its Military Counterintelligence Service has initiated inspection proceedings “regarding the personal security clearance” of Gromadziński. The unit has swiftly replaced Gromadziński with Lieutenant General Piotr Błazeusz on 28 March. Błazeusz is an alumnus of the US Air Force Academy, University of Warsaw, Pułtusk Academy of Humanities and the Postgraduate Course on Defence Policy at the National Defence University of Warsaw." MS
