Typhoon Wipha Slams into Hong Kong, China

"Typhoon Wipha has officially made landfall in Hong Kong and southern China, unleashing
devastating winds (up to Category 13–14) and torrential rain, triggering a double disaster: powerful winds destroying everything above, and massive floods drowning entire cities below. Major urban centers such as Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Guangzhou have been severely impacted. Transportation systems collapsed, hundreds of flights were canceled, streets turned into rivers, trees uprooted, buildings collapsed, and hundreds of thousands of residents were forced to evacuate overnight. Dozens of villages were cut off due to landslides, rising floodwaters, and emergency dam discharges that worsened the disaster."
