"A strong magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred in the South China Sea 78 km (48 mi) from Philippines in the evening at 8.02 pm local time (GMT +8). The quake had a very shallow depth of 24 km (15 mi) and was reported felt by some people near the epicenter." VD
