"A strong magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the South Pacific Ocean 83 km (52 mi) from
New Zealand in the early afternoon at 2.28 pm local time (GMT +13). The quake had a shallow depth of 35 km (22 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
