5.1 Earthquake - Philippine Sea, 66 km northeast of Taitung, Taiwan

"A strong magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred in the Philippine Sea near the coast of Taiwan in the early afternoon at 2.53 pm local time (Asia/Taipei GMT +8). The quake had a very shallow depth of 26 km (16 mi) and was felt by many near the epicenter." VD
