"A strong magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit 266 km (165 mi) away from Dunhuang, Gansu, China, late in the evening at 11.29 pm local time (Asia/Shanghai GMT +8). The quake had a very shallow depth of 8.1 km (5 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
