6.0 Earthquake - South Atlantic Ocean, 191 km southwest of Bristol Island, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

"A very strong magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in the South Atlantic Ocean 126 km (78 mi) from South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands in the morning at 9.47 am local time (GMT -2). The depth of the quake could not be determined, but is assumed to be shallow. The quake was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
