6.5 Earthquake near Nikolski, Alaska

"A magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred near 165 km W of Nikolski, Alaska at 02:19 PM UTC.
This intermediate earthquake originated at a depth of 111.7 kilometers below the Earth's surface. The earthquake was recorded by 146 seismic monitoring stations operated by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The mww magnitude measurement indicates this was a moment magnitude event, which is the standard measurement method for earthquakes of this size. A tsunami warning was issued for this earthquake."
